This week we marked a special milestone at Marfells Beach with the official unveiling of our brand-new information kiosk. The kiosk is more than just a sign – it’s a way to share the stories of this remarkable coastline, its wildlife, and the communities that care for it.
We’re deeply grateful to our foundation sponsor, The Better Half Wine, whose generous support made this project possible. A special thank you also goes to Rangitāne o Wairau, who guided and assisted with the content, ensuring the kiosk reflects both the natural and cultural values of this taonga. It was a pleasure to have both organisations with us to celebrate the launch.
Marfells Beach has long been a favourite destination for campers, fishers, and walkers. Now, with the addition of the kiosk, visitors will be able to deepen their understanding of the unique plants, animals, and history that make this coastline so special.
This is just one step in our ongoing journey to restore and protect the limestone coast, and we look forward to welcoming more people to learn, connect, and be inspired by this incredible place.
